Where is John Kerry, who promised to have Obama's back? Where is Ted Kennedy? Where is Chris Dodd? Where is Johnn Edwards? Where is Howard Dean? Where is Harry Reid? Where is Nancy Pelosi? Where is every single super delegate that has endorsed Obama? Where is the Democratic leadership? Where is the outrage?
Sure there is outrage on the blogs, and Keith Obermann has said that Hillary's "unbelievable," but to me, the silence is deafening. They've left Obama out there to fend for himself. They've entered into a conspiracy of silence. We've seen this before too, on Iraq, on FISA, on all the capitulations since 2006.
Want evidence that this is hurting the Democratic party? I'm evidence. I've been a Democrat since I was old enough to follow my father around while he ran the re-election campaign of Washington State's Democratic governor (Rosellini, from 1956-64). I was a page in State Legislature when I was 14 years old. I was trailing after Bobby Kennedy the way young people today are trailing after Obama. But right now, my anger is such that I am almost irretrievable.
I am outraged, not just by Hillary Clinton and her Rovian attacks on her fellow Democrat, I'm also outraged at the lack of outrage coming from on high.
And just in case the specifics of my outrage are lost on my readers, I'm referring to Hillary's most recent line of attack—placing McCain over Obama.
Like I said at the beginning:
Where. Is. The. Outrage?
Where is the Democratic leadership?
